When we were hit with the "Halloween Storm" that shut down all of New England we had no power (no one did) for 3 weeks. No gas, no lights, no heat, and limbs falling everywhere with hip-high snow. Conn, RI, Mass, and parts of NY. So, I bailed for our cabin on the coast, thank God it was the one place that had power.

This Briggs and Stratton s3500 Portable Generator is made well and the handle, wheels, and stand were so easy to put on. The generator starts easily and runs the needed things during a black-out. After trying other generators, this one is the best! We will add a detailed review soon.

It's a little louder than I expected but quieter than my Honda 2200, which also weighs twice as much. The dual handles are a good spot to run a lock through to secure it from theft if you lose power overnight and have to leave it running outside.

The electric start works flawlessly, and it's significantly quieter than my older generator. The built-in handle and wheels make it easy to manoeuvre. The USB ports are handy so you don't have to take up an outlet to charge any power banks, phones, etc.
